Delivery Information

We are committed to ensuring every floral arrangement and plant is hand-delivered with care.

We always prefer to hand the floral gift directly to the recipient. If they are unavailable, the arrangement will be brought back to the shop, and we will promptly notify the sender to coordinate a successful redelivery.

To avoid delays, if we are unable to reach the sender, Blossoms of Cape Cod may contact the recipient for assistance with delivery instructions.

Special Delivery Instructions:

When placing your order via telephone or website, you may request specific delivery instructions for residential or business deliveries. Flowers can be left upon your request. A follow up phone call will be made by Blossoms to ensure receipt of the flowers.

Flowers will only be left if there is a safe, secure, weatherproof location. Blossoms reserves the right not to leave flowers if the weather conditions or security of the location are of concern. In this case, a follow up phone call will be made to the sender to re organize delivery.

Re-delivery: Blossoms will make every attempt to re-deliver when/if the recipient is unavailable. The sender will be contacted if/when a delivery issue occurs. There is no added fee for this service.

Inclement Weather Conditions: Due to the fragile and highly perishable nature of flowers, deliveries will not be left outside in inclement weather. New England weather can be unpredictable and changeable. In conditions such as extreme heat or cold, rain, snow or high winds the sender will be contacted to discuss alternate delivery options.

Our delivery area encompasses the Lower Cape, Mid-Cape, and Upper-Cape.  We deliver to 40 towns and villages, spanning most of the 65 mile long peninsula known as Cape Cod.

Our local delivery rates are tiered at a flat rate based on the specific Cape Cod town or ZIP code.

Local Flower Delivery to Specific Cape Cod Facilities

We are pleased to offer reliable flower delivery services to a variety of specific facilities across the Cape Cod area. Our experienced team frequently delivers cheerful arrangements to patients at local hospitals, stunning bouquets to guests at charming hotels and inns, and beautiful centerpieces to welcome visitors at rental properties. To ensure a seamless delivery, please include any information in your order notes.

Hotels & Inns

Required

  • Recipients full name-(registered guests name).
  • Name and physical address of Inn or Hotel.
  • Time frame/delivery window in which flowers may be delivered-i.e. (2-4p.m.).

Flowers will be left with the concierge/front desk.

Vacation Rental Homes

Required

  • Recipients full name.
  • Name of person rental is registered under.
  • Physical address of property.
  • Timeframe/delivery window in which flowers may be delivered-i.e. (12-4 p.m.).
  • Contact person such as rental agent or company (optional).

Hospitals

We deliver to the Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis. Patients in the intensive care unit are not able to receive flowers. Blossoms will call the hospital prior to delivery to check patient status and availability to ensure cohesive delivery.

  • Please include the patient’s first and last name.

Flowers will be left at the hospital reception desk.

Long Term Care | Nursing Facilities | Rehabilitation Centers

We deliver to all long term care, nursing and rehabilitation centers located within our delivery area listed above.

Required

  • Please include the recipient’s first and last name
  • Room number-(if available).
  • The name and physical address of the facility which we will be delivering to.

Flowers will be left at the reception desk.

Funeral Homes | Churches | Places of Worship | Celebration of Life Venues

Funeral orders are time sensitive and we recommend that they be placed 24-48 hours in advance of the service.

Blossoms Florist has long standing relationships with the local funeral homes, churches, and venues of Cape Cod. We will coordinate delivery directly with the funeral home, church or venue to ensure cohesion.

Our Flower Delivery Schedule and Times

Blossoms of Cape Cod will make every effort to accommodate specific/special delivery requests when necessary. Please contact us directly at 508-385-0093 and an associate will gladly assist you.

Residential Deliveries

Daily deliveries begin at 12 noon, and are conducted until completion.

Business/Workplace Deliveries

Daily deliveries to the workplace or local business will be structured within the time frame of the location’s operating hours. When placing your order for business or work place, please include name and address of business, name and contact telephone number of recipient and timeframe in which it must be delivered - (please allow a window for delivery—i.e. ( from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.) and day of the week in which the flowers must be delivered.

Same Day Delivery

We accept orders for delivery until 12 noon EST for same day delivery.

Holiday Delivery

Holidays are a very busy time at Blossoms of Cape Cod and delivery spaces fill up quickly. We recommend that you place your order well in advance of an upcoming holiday to ensure that we are able to accommodate your request.

Urgent Orders

For urgent orders, requests past the same day delivery cut off time, special requests outside of our delivery area, or special delivery instructions. Please contact the shop directly at 508-385-0093.
